What We Do

OUR SERVICES

From a single missing shingle to a complete roof system replacement, Ridgeline Roofing handles every aspect of residential and commercial roofing in Virginia. Licensed, insured, and backed by a 10-year workmanship warranty on every installation.

01

Full Roof Replacement

When a roof has reached the end of its useful life, partial repairs stop making economic sense. We handle complete tear-off and replacement, removing every layer of existing material down to the deck before installing your new roof system.

We work with all major roofing manufacturers and install asphalt architectural shingles, standing seam metal, cedar shake, and flat membrane systems. Deck inspection and repairs are included before any materials go on.

  • Full tear-off and deck inspection included
  • Manufacturer warranties up to 50 years depending on material
  • 10-year Ridgeline workmanship warranty on all installations
  • Same-week scheduling available for most projects

Roof Repair

A leak does not always mean you need a new roof. We diagnose the actual source of the problem rather than applying the nearest available patch. Many leaks originate from flashing failures, cracked boot seals, or damaged valley metal rather than the shingles themselves.

You receive a written diagnosis with photographs before any work begins. You know exactly what the problem is, what the repair involves, and what it will cost before we pick up a single tool.

  • Written diagnosis with photos before work starts
  • Flashing, valley, boot seal, and shingle repairs
  • Matching materials used wherever possible
  • Two-year warranty on all repair work

Storm Damage Restoration

Hail, high winds, and fallen limbs cause damage that is often invisible from the ground. Impact damage to shingles, bent flashing, and broken ridge caps can cause serious water infiltration long before a leak becomes visible inside your home.

We provide comprehensive damage documentation designed specifically for insurance claims. Our reports include measurements, photographs, and the technical language that adjusters need to approve claims efficiently. We work alongside your insurance company throughout the process.

  • Free post-storm inspection with written damage report
  • Insurance documentation provided at no additional charge
  • Work directly with most major insurance carriers
  • Emergency tarping available for actively leaking roofs

Roof Inspection

An annual inspection is the most cost-effective thing a homeowner can do to extend the life of their roof. Small issues caught in year three cost a fraction of what they cost in year eight when water damage has worked its way into the decking and structure.

Every inspection covers the full roof system including shingles, flashing, valleys, gutters, soffits, fascia, and attic ventilation. You receive a written report with photographs and a prioritised list of any issues found.

  • Full system inspection including attic ventilation
  • Written report with photos of every area inspected
  • Priority-ranked findings so you know what is urgent
  • No sales pressure. Just an honest assessment.

Gutters and Drainage

A functioning gutter system is not optional in Virginia. Without proper drainage, water pools at your foundation, saturates soil against your basement walls, and causes structural damage that costs far more than a gutter replacement.

We install seamless aluminium gutters cut to measure on site. Seamless gutters have far fewer joints than sectional systems, which means fewer points of failure and less maintenance over time.

  • Seamless aluminium gutters in a full range of colours
  • Gutter guard installation to reduce maintenance
  • Downspout extensions and underground drainage solutions
  • Existing gutter repair, realignment, and cleaning

Commercial Roofing

Flat and low-slope commercial roofing requires different materials and techniques than residential work. We install TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen membrane systems for retail, industrial, and office buildings across Virginia.

Commercial jobs are scheduled to minimise disruption to your business. We work around your operating hours, provide clear timelines, and maintain a clean and safe worksite throughout.

  • TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen systems
  • Roof coatings and restoration for existing flat roofs
  • Scheduled to minimise disruption to your operations
  • Commercial-grade warranties available

Materials We Install

Premium roofing materials from trusted manufacturers.

Architectural Shingles

The most popular choice for Virginia homes. Dimensional look, strong wind resistance, and warranties up to 50 years.

Standing Seam Metal

Exceptional longevity and weather resistance. The right choice for homeowners who want to replace their roof once and never again.

Cedar Shake

Natural wood character and excellent insulation. Properly maintained cedar roofs last 30 years or more in Virginia's climate.

TPO and EPDM

Modern single-ply membrane systems for flat and low-slope roofs. Energy efficient and the current standard for commercial applications.

Common Questions

Questions Virginia homeowners actually ask.

It depends on the age and overall condition of the roof, not just the visible damage. A 25-year-old roof with three damaged shingles is generally not a good repair candidate because the underlying material is past its useful life. A 10-year-old roof with identical damage probably is. We provide a written inspection report that gives you that full picture before recommending either option.
Most single-family residential roofs are completed in one day. Larger homes or complex roof geometries may take two days. We schedule specifically so your roof is never left open overnight. Weather delays are handled by rescheduling to the next available clear day, and we communicate every change proactively.
Storm-related damage including hail, wind, and fallen trees is typically covered by homeowners insurance subject to your deductible. Damage caused by age or neglect is generally not covered. We provide comprehensive documentation for insurance claims, including measurements and photographs that meet the requirements of most major carriers.
Every installation comes with two warranties. The first is the manufacturer warranty on the materials themselves, which ranges from 25 to 50 years depending on the product chosen. The second is our 10-year workmanship warranty covering any defect in how the roof was installed. If a Ridgeline-installed roof leaks because of an installation error within 10 years, we come back and fix it at no charge.
No. Every person working on your property is a trained, background-checked, and direct Ridgeline Roofing employee. We do not use subcontractors at any stage of any project. This is one of the most important factors in the quality of the finished work, and it is a commitment we make to every customer without exception.
